Add Zoom as the Event Location

Once you or your team members have integrated Zoom, Zoom can be set as the event location on any of the booking pages on the account. This setting is done on a page-by-page basis.

In this article:

Set Zoom as the location on an individual booking page

Set up an individual booking page if you are using a standalone YouCanBookMe account and you want to generate Zoom links from your personal Zoom account.

  1. To confirm you are on an individual booking page, go to the booking page settings. Under Who Calendar & Team, your linked calendar will look like this screenshot if you've set up an individual booking page.                    Screenshot 2024-04-17 at 3.30.53 PM.png
  2. To set Zoom as the event location, navigate to What Event details & Location.
  3. Click Add event location to confirm your Zoom account is linked. Screenshot 2024-12-19 at 4.46.17 PM.png
  4. When you receive new bookings on this booking page, the Zoom link will be added to the calendar event, confirmation and reminder emails. If Invite participant to your calendar event is toggled on, new bookings will also be added to your client's calendar with the same Zoom link in the location field.

The Zoom link will look like this: https://testing.youcanbook.me/zoom/YETL-NGRL-PXPC

Set Zoom as the location on a team account

If you have team members connected to your YouCanBookMe account, you are part of a team account. This means you can create a combination of team booking pages and booking pages for individuals.

  1. To set Zoom as the event location on any booking page in a team account, it is important to turn Teams On under Who Calendar & Teams. Screenshot 2024-04-17 at 3.44.23 PM.png
  2. Select a team member, and their calendar from the dropdown menu.
  3. Click "video conferencing" which will redirect you to the What: Event details & Location section.
  4. Select Zoom from the options. YCBM will link to the team member's Zoom account automatically. Screenshot 2024-12-19 at 4.46.17 PM.png
  5. Save all changes.
  6. Ensure each team member on the booking page is linked to their individual Zoom account.

Set Zoom as the location on a mutual availability booking page

On a booking page that checks multiple team members' calendars for conflicts, using the native Zoom integration generates a unique Zoom link from the Account Owner's integrated Zoom account.

If the Account Owner is not being booked on this booking page, it is recommended to not set Zoom as the Event location, but instead to add a static zoom link in the Event Location field.

  1. To add a static Zoom link, navigate to What Event details & Location.
  2. Click Add event location, and select No location.
  3. Save all changes.
  4. Navigate to the Calendar events, and add the static Zoom link to the location.Screenshot 2024-04-17 at 3.59.52 PM.png
  5. Save all changes.
  6. Add the static Zoom link to the confirmation and reminder emails.
