Different availability for different locations (V2)
This article looks at setting up different availability for different locations on the new version of YCBM (V2), released in September 2026. You can check which version you are on by looking at the footer of your account. For instructions on how to do this on our Classic (V1) version, please see this page
In YouCanBookMe, you can easily offer different availability for different locations using the Resources feature.
How it works
Each Resource you create at the org level can have its own:
Calendar - to have unique availability slots for each location
Available hours — the specific days and times for each location
Location — an in-person address, video conferencing link, or a fixed/static location
When a client visits your booking page, they can select the location they want to visit, and YCBM will show only the times and dates that are available for that location. Or they can select the time and date that works for them and YCBM will automatically assign a location.
Setting up location-specific availability
Step 1: Create a Resource for each location
Go to Org Settings > Resources and create a new resource.
Give the Resource a clear name that includes the location, for example: "Uptown Office" and "Downtown Office"
Choose a calendar for each resource/location.
NOTE: if you can take bookings in different locations at the same time, link each resource to a different calendar to ensure a booking in one location doesn't block bookings in the other.
If it is just you being booked, and you work in both locations, link all resources to the same calendar so if you are booked in one, you cannot be booked in the other at the same time.
4. Set the address for each location.
5. Add a description as needed to help bookers to know which location to pick (if they are selecting)
Step 2: Set available hours for each Resource/location
On the Resource/location, click Available Hours.
Toggle on "Restricted hours" to set the specific days and times this location is available for bookings.
Step 3: Add the correct Resources to your booking page
On your booking page, go to the Participants section.
Navigate to the Resources tab and add the resources/locations to the page by clicking on the + sign.
Choose whether to display them so the booker decides where the meeting will be (Booker Decides strategy), or if you want YCBM to assign the location based on the day/time selected (Automatically Assign strategy)
You can combine your locations with multiple team members on the Members tab of the Participants section, or with different length appointments on the Appointment Types tab.
Using separate booking pages
If you prefer to keep each location on its own booking page — for example, to give each location its own URL to share or embed — you can also do this. Create one booking page per location and, on each page, configure the relevant location and team members via the Participants tab. Each page will have its own shareable link.
