Availability across booking pages (V2)
This article looks at availability across booking pages on the new version of YCBM (V2), released in September 2026. You can check which version you are on by looking at the footer of your account. For instructions on how to do this on our Classic (V1) version, please see this page.
You can create several booking pages on your YouCanBookMe account for different types of appointments, locations, or team members. This article explains how availability works across multiple booking pages and how to control whether pages share a pool of availability or are booked independently.
How availability works across pages
Each person on your account has a User Profile where they set their linked calendar(s), working hours, and timezone. These settings are automatically applied to every booking page that person is a participant on — no need to configure availability separately on each page.
Because availability is tied to a person's User Profile rather than to individual booking pages, if that person is booked at 11am on Tuesday via one page, that slot is automatically unavailable across all other pages they are on. This shared availability happens by default with no additional setup.
Shared availability (default behavior)
If one person is a participant on multiple booking pages — for example, Consultations and Team Calls — they share a single pool of availability derived from their User Profile. A booking on one page at a given time removes that slot from all their other pages.
Independent availability across booking pages
The cleanest way to offer independent availability for different appointment types or services in a single account is to use Appointment Types with their own available hours. Each Appointment Type can be restricted to specific days and times, so bookers only see slots relevant to that type — without needing separate booking pages.
If you need genuinely independent booking for physical resources (such as two meeting rooms that can each be booked simultaneously), use Resources. Each Resource has its own calendar and its own booking pool. Resources are created in Org Settings > Resources and added to booking pages via the Participants tab.
Team accounts
On a team account, each team member manages their own availability through their own User Profile. To add a team member to a booking page, go to the booking page's Participants tab > Members and search their name. All of their User Profile settings — including their calendars, working hours, and timezone — are applied automatically.
Team admins can view each member's User Profile from the Members menu in the top navigation.
